The annual northerly migration of the H*RC to the alpine riding meccas of Idaho and Montana. This is an open invite event and BYOEverything. Below you will find the itinerary and staging areas so that you can bring your rig, your bike and your camping gear to meet up with us at any point. We will be making meals, but please come prepared to feed and hydrate yourself as needed. I shouldn’t have to mention that your bike and your body should be in good operating condition so that we may enjoy ourselves together rather than fixing things all week. Muchas gracias amigos y amigas.
ITINERARY:
July 22 - 26: Greenhorn Gulch in Hailey, Idaho
Hailey is the eastern entry point to the enormous network of trails that extend through the southern half of the Sawtooth Mountain. There’s something for everyone here, from easy rips through big meadows to big rocky ridgeline climbs. It’s also just 15 minutes or so from the airport.

All camping options will be dispersed, and a small crew will arrive early to nail down a space that can hold our group. When we land, we will send a pin to the group and copy to the google doc. Options:
July 26 - 30: Sylvia Lake, Montana
Sylvia Lake is a magical little spot wedged in the heart of Flathead National Forest. From the lakeside campground we can get lost in any direction on all kinds of terrain. It’s utterly beautiful, way off the grid, and the few of us who have been have only had a small taste of the riding on offer.

RESCHEDULED!
Hideout Riders Club invites riders of all ages and abilities to join us for a poker run format bash in the desert. Basecamp will be set up at Giant Rock around the club trailer. We will have loops set up for dirt bikes, families in UTVs, and/or trucks. For each waypoint that you reach and photograph, you will be dealt a card. At the end of the day, the individuals or groups with the best hands will win prizes.
We have set it up so there are three types of waypoints to link into a track that suits your vehicle and interests. Green waypoints are for a road trip style enjoying the sights, shops, restaurants, bars & outdoor art. Blue waypoints are for light duty offroad travel in trucks or UTVs. Black waypoints are for 4x4 trucks with high clearance, UTVs, ADV bikes and dirt bikes.
This isn’t a race and you will be participating at your own risk. GPS waypoints and tracks will be provided on established trails in the Giant Rock, Johnson Valley, Rattlesnake Canyon, Hondo Wash and Pioneertown areas.
We will have rentals available for the event. Message us ahead of time so that we can get you set up.
Featuring live Q&A session with riders Forrest Minchinton, Colton Udall, Nic Garvin and Derek Ausserbauer, hosted by Monti Smith.
SYNOPSIS
The Baja 1000 is a race like no other. It is the longest non-stop, point to point, off-road race in the world. Anyone can enter the Baja 1000, but not everyone will finish it. Some aren’t tough enough. Some don’t have bikes that are tough enough. And some make mistakes that take them out of the race. Sometimes, tragically, forever.
This is the story of four men whose passion come before any paycheck. Each with motivations of their own. A motley crew united by motorcycles, with the common goal of proving to themselves and the world that they are alive and that the dance must go on.
For those already in the know, it's a chance to connect with the subtleties of performance and the art of the machine. For the uninitiated, it is a breathtaking introduction to the spectacle and sublime wonder that is the Baja 1000, and the men who endure enormous hardship in a landscape like no other.
Special thanks to supporting partners - Deus ex Machina, Honda, Alpine Stars, Bell Helmets, 100% and SCORE International.

Five Days of Single and Double track riding in central and Southern Oregon
Dates: June 5-9
June is the most epic trail riding time in Oregon. The dirt is wet, the temperatures are chill, and you can keep beer cold in the rivers. In this trip we will hit 2 of the Oregon’s largest trail systems, covering fast, flowy high desert forests and dense, technical woods riding in the southern cascade mountains. We will move between two home-bases and have opportunity for all skill levels, focused on trail riding.
